The current year will be remembered, first of all, for a real wedding boom – after all, most of the weddings that did not take place due to the pandemic were postponed to 2022. It is not surprising that during the two-year pause with severe restrictions, people wanted more freedom, and in all its manifestations.
The wedding sphere is no exception: according to the wedding trends of 2022, it is noticeable that traditional weddings are of little interest to modern newlyweds. Now the priority is bold ways of self-expression, themed celebrations, and extraordinary solutions.
1. Women’s wedding costumes
At the word “wedding” or “bride”, 99% of people imagined a girl in a magnificent white dress. But that was before, and now there are more trouser suits and overalls created for wedding ceremonies on the catwalks.
And this is great news: often, brides experienced nervousness before their wedding day, not so much because of the upcoming celebration, but because of the prospect of spending the day in a massive dress and high heels. Now there is no reason to worry – the bride in a trouser wedding suit is not bad manners, but one of the main wedding trends of 2023.
2. Chamber weddings
One of the few good things that the pandemic has brought has been the desire for solitude and sensitivity to personal space. There are fewer and fewer weddings for hundreds of guests, and newlyweds prefer a celebration for 10-15 really close people.
