Learn About Different Hotels and The Facilities for Tibet Kailash Tour

The Tibet Kailash tour is a popular trip that Hindus and those with an adventurous spirit take when they are on a trip to this mountain Kingdom.

Gang Rinpoche or the Mount Kailash resides cozily on the folded confines of the Himalayan range, well away from the prying eyes of the outsiders. Known for its beauty and religious significance for the Buddhist and Hindus, the mount Kailash is well traveled through the southern route, through Lhasa, the cultural capital of Tibet.

So, if you are traveling along on a Tibet Kailash tour, nowadays, you can find some good hotels along the way through Lhasa and the Gyantse, Tingri, and Shigatse. Each of these places has good hotels in place, three-star or more and maintain cleanliness and provide good accommodation for the guests.

The Shangrila Lhasa  or ST Regis Lhasa Resort, the star rated luxury hotel, for instance, is situated in the central part of the city, near the Jokang temple and Bharkor Bazzar, and it is also not very far from the Potala Palace as well. The Potala Palace can be viewed from within the rooms too.

And, if you want a traditional Tibetan hotel, you can always opt for the Kyichu hotel, in the Beijing road, Lhasa. Here, the hotel itself is ideally situated near primary sightseeing areas of the city and also boasts of tea rooms and other modern amenities.

And, if you want Boutique-luxury small hotel, try the Lubhum Tsang Boutique Tibetan hotel with its signature elegance and grandeur with enrich Tibetan styles, painting, antique Tibetan furniture with a modern 5* comfort of beds and shower. Lubhum Tsang boutique hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Potala Palace and 30 minutes walk to the Jokang temple while it takes 5 minutes by public bus to the Potala Palace and 10 minutes by bus to the Jokang temple and Bharkor Bazzar.

You can also find many other hotels which have four-star facilities but have confined themselves to depicting the culture of Tibet too. Along the way, there is the Gang Gyen hotel with its four-star facilities again, located in the Beijing middle road, near the old section of the city. You can enjoy walking to the Jokang temple and Bharkor Bazzar from the hotel within a 10 minutes distance and at the same time, take a deep breath to equip yourself with the energy to climb the peaks of Mount Kailash.

Other hotels along the way to Tibet Kailash tour, such as the Jianzang hotel or Yuthok Tibeatn hotel in Gyantse, Tashi Choe Ta and the Shigatse Manasarovar hotel in Shigatse , all provide good facilities for the visitors on the way.

If you go to Tsetang, in the southern part of Tibet before your trip to Mount Kailash, there is only good hotel available in Tsetang, such as the Tsedang hotel and on the way to Kailash after Shigatse, there are some good hotels such Saga hotel or Grand hotel of western post in Saga, Himalaya hotel in Dharchen, Chengbao hotel in Tholing and Tsaparang, Ali hotel, or Shangshong hotel in Ali or Nagri prefecture. All those hotels provide clean rooms with shower and toilet but their price is very high since there is no other option in those places so it is always better to deal with good and reliable travel agents because they can get better contract rate.

So, the next time you fix up a Tibet Kailash tour, remember to look into these specialized hotels or go for a package deal to preserve your resources before the grand show – the viewing of Mount Kailash!
