According to a survey conducted by Bosch back in 2015, 42% of Danes surveyed think it is easier to use dosing instead of reading on the package.
At the same time, 48% say that they actually have no doubt about how much detergent is needed to get their clothes clean. Although, according to the Consumer Council, it is very easy to misjudge how much or how little soap is really needed.
Many of us may well lean on the old saying:
‘Rather too much than too little’.
But this does not apply when it comes to arranging the laundry.
The clothes do not become cleaner by using more detergent.
And you just run the risk of getting soap residue in your clothing that increases the risk of allergy and irritated skin.
So many Danes are doing wrong
Today we are too many Danes who do not know how to properly dose.
We simply follow the instructions on the powder or liquid detergent that we picked up at the nearest supermarket.
